CRCC Fund Update: CR Stations

Reference our recent CRCC Fund update which outlined the new reporting procedures for carriers’ and detailed the test program which four carriers’ have agreed to participate in as we sort out the most effective way to accomplish our collective goals.

This data test program will also involve various CR stations and therefore we want to outline the procedures involved as they relate to this program.

CRCC Fund Update

After extensive study and review with many shippers and other interested parties, the CRCC Fund has determined that the most efficient and cost effective manner of submitting cargo data for royalty calculations is substantially the same as originally stated in our August 26, 2013 memo.  The required data elements are all available from the 309 submission to US Customs and Border Protection for inbound cargo and should be readily available for outbound cargo as well.

For the initial phase of implementation, CRCC Fund will be working with several carriers in a pilot program to test the upload process and files formats and sort out any issues prior to going to the larger audience. Continue Reading →
