CRCC Fund Overview

Since 1864, our member ports have welcomed ships from all over the world.

Today, it’s a new century with emerging technology, innovation, and globalization, but the ships keep sailing and the CRCC Fund continues to ensure benefits are preserved for qualified ILA members.

The CRCC Fund delivers millions of dollars in savings in administrative costs to both the ILA and USMX and ensures that accurate voyage, vessel, and tonnage tracking is enabled and transparent to all parties.

How do we do it?
Simply put, the CRCC Fund is using innovative technologies and centralized data storage to track and process all East and Gulf Coasts shipping activity. We have created a database filled with fact-based information that is transparent to all parties. We are improving efficiency, adding transparency, and increasing accuracy of voyage, vessel, and tonnage information in order to deliver more revenue to qualified ILA members and Member Benefits Funds.

Every day, CRCC Fund works side-by-side with the ILA and USMX to solve age-old and day-old problems. We are working together to anticipate what’s to come, so that we can continue to provide well-deserved benefits to qualified ILA Members now — and into the future.

Our most recent success story: The CRCC Fund Application
In the past few years, we have created the CRCC Fund Application. It is a premier management system created to capture actual and accurate movement of all vessel and voyage activity along the East and Gulf Coasts.

This exciting and collaborative effort brought Management and Labor together to revolutionize the shipping industry and to create a platform that benefits all areas of the Maritime Industry. Results include improved data management, significant cost savings for the USMX and carriers, and increased revenue for qualified ILA members.

Fourteen ports. Seven Funds.
There are fourteen ports included in the Container Royalty Central Collection Fund. The CRCC Fund Application is up and running with users in the USA, Canada, South America, Asia, and the Middle East.
